Since Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, Glitter Guide asked me to send them a photo holding a sign of what I am thankful for. They also asked us to stray from the usual- family, friends, etc. In some ways this couldn't have come at a worse time, since I've been struggling so much emotionally, but in other ways it's times like these that you need to take a step back and realize all the good that's in your life. I know I still haven't really shared with you why I'm in such a sad place and for that I apologize. I promise to fill you in this week, but for now it's just too fresh. Please excuse me while I take a little time to listen to music and heal my heart.

**i'd also like to thank phil & afton for taking this photo & letting me use their awesome apartment

  1. hi jessie. i don't post much on your blog but i'm a long time follower and i hope that everything works itself out. until then, i'm sending you some good vibes :)

  2. Hey Jessie,
No one deserves to be sad, hope you find a happy place really soon. I guess i see it like this, for myself if i ever get put down in that sad place, i ask or talk to myself (not in a weird creepy way haha!), but i think, there are people out in the world that are a lot more worse of than i am, and life isn't worth being sad about, is it really worth being sad over any situation if its fixable? I really hope all goes well with you though.

    Awesome picture btw!

    much love,

  3. Found your blog through 6 degrees of separation.
Really enjoy it. Maybe because of our mutual love of fashion, decor, and Ojai!
I feel for you now, but you will get through it.
You also will be stronger and wiser.
    Take Care

  4. What a cool photo and Idea! And that space. It is all done perfectly doll! Kudos!
I think you should take the time to heal yourself and if needed keep anything private that you need to. I keep a journal to write down ideas and private thoughts that I do not want to share on my blog. But I do wish you all the best!

  5. If you're having a difficult time, we don't need to know what it's about to virtually hug you with lot of love :) So you really don't have to apologize!
The pic is sweet, as you are!

  6. You are beautiful & it is fact *music truly heals the soul.

  7. what a cozy, beautiful image. i too am very thankful for music. beautiful post.

  8. no need to apologize. it is obviously a very private and sensitive matter. take time to heal. music has been a constant companion in my life and it has definitely helped me through the rough patches. the photo is great and their apartment looks fun.

  9. What a beautiful photo and beautiful room! We don't have to share everything we go through on our blogs. Do it only if you feel it would help. :)
